Moy Park creates 450 jobs at poultry site
Moy Park has created 450 full-time jobs at its Anwick poultry processing site in Lincolnshire.
The announcement saw 450 temporary staff members become permanent full-time employees, enabling the business to strengthen its processing capabilities.
Director of operations Gary Leslie said: “This investment is a vote of confidence in the British agriculture industry. We believe this jobs creation will have a positive impact in Anwick and the surrounding area, as well as enhancing service delivery for our customers in the UK retail sector and building on our success in the industry.”
He explained that the Anwick site is one of the most efficient “state-of-the-art operations” in the UK and Europe of its kind.
“Moy Park works closely with the local communities where we operate, as well as with our customers and suppliers, in order to make a positive contribution. As a major employer in the Lincolnshire area we are committed to looking after our employees through training opportunities and career development,” he added.
