Harrold Brothers of Wick in Caithness; Clwyd Williams of Llandyrnog, near Denbigh; Chantry Farm Shop near Melbourne in Derbyshire and Peter Dale Butchers of East Molesey, Surrey were the lucky winners.
The butchers, all of whom have 'special' sausage recipes, won equipment worth more than £2,500 including sausage fillers, mincers, burger machines and vacuum packers.
More than 500 butchers nationwide took part in the competition, which was part of a promotion for Oris Ltd casings.
Ian Durroch, managing director of Dalziel, said: "Our customers loved this competition so much we are running it again in the next issue of our Prime Cuts Bulletin."
Harrold Brothers of Wick supply their pork, leek and onion breakfast sausages to many local businesses as well as their shop trade.
"Although we do have a sausage filler machine, it is used all the time as we also sell a lot of black puddings. Winning a Macina filler and having two machines will really help to get the work done and keep up with demand," said Neil Harrold.
Helen Shred of Chantry Farm Shop near Melbourne said: "Winning the competition was fantastic news for us and the new mincer and burger machines will really help expand the range of products we can offer our customers."
