The 4,000ft2 Chorley site is said to offer full installation and maintenance services for the complete range of Hubbard and Zanotti vehicle refrigeration systems. The new service centre is situated close to the M61, giving easy access for vehicle bodybuilders throughout Cumbria, the north west and North Wales. The Chorley site offers installation packages for commercial vehicle bodybuilders and dealers.
Jim Whittlam, Hubbard service director, said: "Following a highly successful year for Hubbard, we are committed to providing the best possible after-sales customer service. In addition to installation, the new sites will provide a comprehensive preventative maintenance service, which includes the use of fully calibrated equipment, ensuring that vehicle downtime is kept to a minimum."
The new sales and administration facility, based at Tipton in the West Midlands, is designed to create additional growth for Hubbard, the company added, by drawing on the wide range of engineering skills becoming available as automotive and general engineering companies seek to down-size and release highly qualified personnel on to the jobs market.
