During the Argentine Experience at the Restaurant Festival, nine London restaurants offered dishes prepared with the best Argentine beef, where clients received information on the product, as well as cooking books containing recipes with Argentine beef, prepared by the world’s best chefs.
A positive aspect of the event, added IPCVA, was that the product’s characteristics were displayed in the wide offer of menus, and its qualities were highlighted due to the Argentine wines recommended for each dish – such as the Malbec and Torrontés– which were promoted during the festival by Wines of Argentina.
IPCVA president Dardo Chies said: “We are excited to be participating in the London Restaurant Festival. It’s a unique opportunity for the final consumer to enjoy the qualities of our noble product. We are also really proud of sharing this experience with Wines of Argentina and PROARGEX, two organisations that work towards making Argentine products known in the whole world.”
The IPCVA added that being part of the event was a great opportunity for the Institute, since it allowed for more people, especially final consumers, to learn about attributes of the Argentine beef. It added it was also honoured by the fact that chefs from restaurants such as Bleeding Heart, Brompton Bar & Grill, The Botanist, The Don, The Gun, The Wells, Rehab, The Zetter and Village East made dishes using quality Argentine beef.
