Aubrey Allen from Lemington Spa picked up the top accolade at the 2012 awards as they were named the national Butcher's Shop of the Year 2012.
The awards celebrate the best butcher’s shops around the country, with the winner in each region going head to head to see which one is declared the best butcher’s shop in the UK. Aubrey Allen picked up the regional award for the best Butcher’s Shop in the Midlands & East of England and then went on to beat stiff competition to be named the national winner.
Other winners on the night included Keelham Farm Shop who picked up the award for Farm Shop of the Year and Alex Emmett of Allens of Mayfair who’s passion and enthusiasm for the job caught the eye of the judges leading him to be named the Young Butcher of the Year.
