Bpex updates butchers’ website
Bpex has revamped its ‘PorkforButchers’ website, which it said now contained the latest information on Bpex marketing campaigns, the latest consumer recipe booklets, advice on pork cuts and industry news.
Claire Holland, product manager for Bpex, said: “The website provides butchers with a direct link to not only Bpex marketing updates, but also the main Bpex site which contains a huge amount of pig industry knowledge.
“One of our main objectives was to build a user-friendly and simple-to-navigate site. The new layout allows the users to quickly find the latest news or check out the extensive recipe library, the latest campaign promotional material, as well as a list of upcoming events across the country. As technology develops, the site will evolve even more and it will become a hugely useful marketing tool for Bpex.”
Information that butchers can access on the site includes seasonal recipes for butchers to recommend to customers, the latest promotional support material, up-to-the-minute news and information, a brand new events map showing what’s happening in your area, an interactive guide to pork cuts, information on how to sign up to the Red Tractor scheme, plus updates on promotional campaigns such as Red Tractor Week.
Bpex added that butchers will also be able to view the latest flipbooks, guides and booklets, including ‘It’s Time to Enjoy Pork’, ‘strEAT at Home’ and ‘Gammon, Bacon, Ham: What’s the Difference?’, which can all be easily downloaded and printed.
