Hunt's Foodservice to supply Glastonbury Festival

Hunt's Foodservice has announced it will supply the frozen, chilled and ambient food to onsite caterers at Glastonbury Festival.

It is the third year that festival founder, Michael Eavis has chosen the company.

Hunts supports farmers and producers across the West Country and supplies local beef, Somerset Cheddars and Dorset Clotted Cream.

Hunts will also supply a variety of local fresh and frozen produce along with household brands.

The food company said its partnership with Glastonbury Festival would help to support West Country communities and reduce their carbon footprint with minimal food miles.

Hunts plans to be on site throughout the week with a dedicated team and stock holding to manage the festival demand. Hunts nearby cold store at Sherborne HQ will also be on hand to help with any specific festival requirements.

Richard Hunt, managing director of Hunts Foodservice, said: We have been serving the West Country for over 60 years and have the local, family values that reflect the message of Glastonbury Festival.

I am delighted to be working with Michael Eavis again, supplying our goods to the thousands of people who will be at the festival. Working with an event like Glastonbury Festival demonstrates our industry expertise and capability to satisfy demands of large scale operations.
