New engineering manager for CES
Machinery and supplies company Cutting Edge Services (CES) has appointed Mike Woods as its new engineering manager.
CES is a market-leading supplier to the meat and food processing industry in the UK and Ireland. Products include meat processing machinery, abattoir and butchery supplies and janitorial goods. Turnover for the company has increased annually in 22 of the last 24 years.
Prior to his new position with the company, Woods did the same job for a global manufacturer of textile testing equipment. He expressed his excitement about joining CES: “I am looking forward to bringing my service, engineering and leadership experience to CES and I aim to be visible in the field, while helping to develop and grow this dynamic and ambitious firm.”
Jon Holt, general manager at CES, said: “Mike’s experience, knowledge and proven track record, both operationally and in personal development make him an ideal addition to CES, to assist us as we look towards the next stages of our growth programme.”
Woods’ appointment is one of several new recruits that have joined the company since the beginning of the year, with more positions expected to be created before the year comes to a close.
