Polish meat processor heads to the UK
ZM Wierzejki, a Polish meat processor, has expanded its horizons by launching its first store in London.
This launch comes as a part of the firms plan to establish at least a dozen new stores over the coming year, according to senior representatives of the company.
Speaking to Puls Biznesu, a Polish language daily newspaper focussing on business and economic issues, one of the company’s co-owners, Adam Zdanowski explained that the aim was to “open further outlets in the UK, also outside London”.
He continued to add that he believes ZM Wierzejki’s “customers will not consist of Poles alone”.
According to Zdanowski export sales of ZM Wierzejki have been gradually increasing. However, to help boost growth in foreign markets, the company has expanded its reach to the UK by establishing its own retail network.
