Mexican sauces spice up meat favourites

Three new ambient sauces, designed to accompany meat and fish dishes, are set to hit the market.

Created by Mexican food specialist Cool Chile Co, the sauce pots have been produced to make cooking authentic Mexican meals easier and tastier.

We are delighted with this new line, which we are confident will appeal to both existing and new customers alike, said Kelly Peak, chief operating officer at Cool Chile Co.

The sauces are available in three flavours: Mexican Adobo Marinade, which makes for a tangy marinade for lamb; Mexican Buffalo, a spicy sauce for chicken; and Mexican Mojo de Ajo, a garlic and chilli oil that can be used as a sauce, marinade or dressing and complements prawn-based dishes.

The sauce pots will initially be available in 70g pots at a retail price of 2.85 per pot or 7.50 for three.

With the steady increase in Mexican cuisine, the sauce pots offer a great new concept with different taste and heat options to choose from. This is a great time of year for us as we see new lines coming from our factory, together with the launch of a new website which will be more comprehensive and eye-catching, added Peak.
