Increased cooked meats production leads to Tulip jobs boost
Tulip is looking to recruit over 100 people for its King’s Lynn production facility, following an increase in the volume of sliced, cooked meats manufactured at the site.
The full-time positions currently available are across a number of areas and disciplines, including production management, slicing, hygiene, despatch and engineering.
Kylie Quantrill, Tulip’s senior HR advisor, said: “This is a very exciting time for the King’s Lynn operation and the creation of over 100 new full-time positions at our site will have a really positive impact on the local economy.
“We are recruiting across a number of areas and disciplines and are keen to hear from people interested in a career within the dynamic food manufacturing industry, we will be looking to fill the vacancies over the next few months.”
Owned by Danish Crown, Tulip currently employs around 530 people at its King’s Lynn production facility. The site produces cooked, sliced meat products for the UK’s retail and foodservice sectors.
Tulip has 16 fresh and cooked meat sites across the UK, employing around 7,000 people.
